K3 Construction Group, Inc. has its roots when first established by Jorge A. Kfoury in 1982 as JAK Construction Company. In 1987 Jeffrey J. Martello was hired to assist in growing the business into a first class construction company. In 1993 due to expansion into the Baltimore market place, JAK became Kfoury Construction Group so as not to be confused with a similarly named Baltimore company. Over the years as the business continued to grow, Mr. Martello’s ownership interest and management responsibilities also continued to increase.

In 2006 Jorge Kfoury sold the company allowing Mr. Martello to gain controlling interest and assumed the role of President / CEO. The name was changed to K3 Construction Group, Inc. in 2007 to reflect the new ownership. The name K3 reflects our desire to provide connectivity to our past with incorporation of the “K” Logo, pays tribute to our history as the third revision to the name, defines the three jurisdictions of operations as DC, VA & MD and identifies the three types of work we engage in as Interiors, New Structures and Renovations.

Mr. Martello as sole owner looks to continue on the journey to build a company that truly lives up to its mission statement to simply “Create Value and Build Relationships”. Our Vision is to “to provide outstanding construction services while creating an environment where success is defined when clients, business partners and individuals achieve their professional goals”.

Our mission and vision are fulfilled by surrounding ourselves with like minded good people who share our principles. The diversity of our staff and excellent vendor relationships allow us to service all of our clients development needs. We can be all things to that select group of valued clients!

Our desire is to be the contractor of choice for those select clients. This status is earned through years of trusted partnering and collaboration on many successful projects. We are that valued resource for many of our relationships to provide information for proper planning, budgeting, scheduling and connectivity with others to ensure the success of their projects.

JEFF MARTELLO
President
As Principal and President, Jeff has full management responsibility for the company, and leads the company’s project management teams and support staff. Prior to joining the company in 1987, Jeff held management positions with Oliver Carr, Trammell Crow Company, and the George Hyman Construction Company. Jeff graduated from Pennsylvania State University.
